On May 31st, Brad Treliving was named the 18th General Manager in Maple Leafs franchise history, and there was no time to waste getting this done. In this episode we discuss this crucial hire, Dubas “turning up” in Pittsburgh, and the Stanley Cup final match up!

The Maple Leafs season is done and the Stanley Cup drought continues. As we all know the Leafs lost their 2nd round series to the Florida Panthers in 5 games. In this episode we are going to try and make sense of it all in the playoff edition of the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. For our final Playoff Highlight reel, were going with a defense oriented theme, as we celebrate 3 performers on our back end that were able to rise to the occasion. Then for the Third Period, we welcome Lance Hornby of the Toronto Sun to the show to discuss the Leafs 2023 playoff run and what could be next for the team. No doubt, after yet another disappointing exit, changes will be coming.

They did it!  The 19yr drought without a series win is OVER! As usual though, the team did not make it easy on themselves taking game 6 to yet a 3rd overtime in the series, before new Dad, Captain JT, would seal the deal. We start the show with some Leaf Talk and recap the last 3 games of the series with the Lightning. In the LTL Playoff Highlight Reel we feature 3 of the Big Dogs that came through in the clutch. Then we are naming our first ever Stars and Breakout Stars of the Series. We hope we will be featuring several of these selections over a long playoff run!
